Insurance fun

anyone in the hospital that talks to you, touches you or even looks at you is probably billing you.  i'm fortunate to have insurance that has good coverage.  insurance paid my billed charges at 90%+, so i'm sure all the providers i had are happy too.  here's some of the charges i racked up at CHB (billed charges, not what i paid thankfully!). my abacus broke halfway thru so i'm not gonna try adding it all up.

i was billed for a pelvic x-ray radiology fee while hospitalized. it came back as out-of-network and i was responsible for the charge.  i called insurance and they first said it was my OON deductible but then said that i should only have my inpatient admission copay since the procedure was done while i was hospitalized.  the charge was resubmitted and should be covered.
